No they aren’t sadly. A frequent visitor to our oppomeets has an automatic Subaru version of it :(

I wouldn’t say better, but it wasn’t bad. When I had my BRZ (manual) I drove a buddy’s automatic variant and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. It’s no dual clutch, but it’s a good auto.

Agreed. I have driven the exact BRZ that BvdV mentioned, and the auto is absolutely fine. Does what you want and does it quickly. Much better than certain autos that get annoying quickly when you try to drive spiritedly .

However, I was constantly thinking ‘this would be so much better with a manual!’...
